To create an announcement:
- Open the Chat
- Tap the announcement bar on the top of the chat
- Tap the "..." on the top right of the Announcements page
- Tap "New Announcement"
New Announcements are also sent as messages in the Private Group. Once an Announcement is created, it can be set as the Prominent Announcement or pinned in the Chat through the same menu as above.
